SWANSEA PART DESSERT SERVICE IN THE "MANDARIN"
PATTERN.
60 Pieces - Circa 1814-1826
One tureen and one plate with iron-red stenciled
mark, one tureen stand with impressed mark.
Outline-printed and painted in the Mandarin palette with
a Chinese expert style scene of court figures (some
minor rubbing to enamels and gilding throughout,
particularly to the handles) comprising:
Three circular sauce-tureens, covers and stands (one
handle with a slight chip, one stand with a stapled
repair)
A shaped rectangular two-handled center-dish (one
handle repaired)
Four large shaped rectangular dishes
Two small shaped rectangular dishes
Four shell-shaped dishes (one cracked, one quite
rubbed)
Forty-three dessert plates (one with a stapled
repair, three with slight cracks, two with a rim chip).
